Do I need to be a restaurant consultant?
No. If you already work with restaurants on money, menus, or operations, you can use the kit. Bookkeepers, POS resellers, and culinary instructors are a good fit because they already have the client relationship.
Do I need to get on a call?
No. Onboarding is recorded: four short videos that walk through the license, the template, your first audit, and how to deliver it. Support is by email. If you want a 15-minute call after your first audit, you can ask for one, but it is optional.
Is the report white-label?
Yes. The report template carries your name and your client's name. You can keep the small Platemix credit in the footer or remove it. The report is yours to deliver.
How many clients can I run?
Up to 10 client projects per year under the partner license. If you need more, tell us in the application and we will work out a larger license.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Platemix runs in the browser. The client's data stays in your browser, and you can export a backup any time. Nothing is uploaded to a server.
Can I charge my own fee?
Yes. You set your audit fee and bill your client directly. Platemix does not take a cut of your service fee. The only fixed cost is the annual partner license.
What if my client wants the software?
You can sell it with your 30% affiliate link, or include a license in your engagement. The client software is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.
What data do I need from the client?
Ten dishes, selling prices, portion sizes, rough ingredient costs or supplier invoices, and monthly units sold. The intake form collects all of it. If a number is missing, the report labels it as an estimate.
